    • MATILDA de Vaux  [1260/61]-  [before 1316], bur Pentney Priory, Norfol k).    An undated manuscript names “Petronilla et Matilda” as the tw o daughters of Johnde Vaux, adding that Matilda married “domino Willie lmo de Ros et genuit Willelmum primogenitum suum...”[567].    A manusc ript narrating the foundation of Rievall Abbey records that "Willielmu m de Ros" married "Matildam de Vaus hæ redem medietatis terrarium Joha nnis de Vaux"[568].    Inquisitions following a writ dated "15 Edw I " after the death of "John de Vallibus...on Thursday before the Exalta tion of the Holy Cross 15 Edw I” name “Petronilla [...aged 28...[who m arried] William de Nerford] and Maud [...aged 26...[who] married Willi am de Ros] his daughters are his next heirs and of full age”[569].   m   (before 1287) WILLIAM de Ros, son of ROBERT de Ros & his wife Isabe l de Albini -[12 May/16 Aug] 1316, bur Kirkham).
