The following is my transcription of the 1652 will of Richard Jaques of Malmsbury, Wiltshire.

I previously posted a 1653 will transcription for a different Richard Jaques.

MEMORANDUM the nineteenth day of September One Thousand Six hundred ffiftie and one Richard Jaques of ???dborne in the parish of Malmesbury and Countie of Wilts gentleman being sicke in body but of perfect memorie and understanding; of which si???? he shortly after died made this his last will and testament ??????????? ; namely that Joane Jaques his ?????? ; widdowe should bee his sole Executrix of all his goods and Chattells paying his debts and discharging his funerall ????? ; Provided she allowed maintenance for Susanna Jaques his daughter unmarried and not provided for ; for her ; ??? ??????? and future condition ; and this made in the presence of Richard Jaques’ Minister John Powell Aylisse Royne. This will made proved at London before the right worshipfull ?? Nathaniell Brent Knight Dorten of La???? and Master or Keeper of the Prerogative Courte ????fully constituted the Sixth day of July in the yeare of our Lord One Thousand Six hundred sixty two by the Oath of Joane Jaques the Relict and Executrix named in the said will To whom Administration was remitted of all and singular the goods chattells and debts of the said deceased shee being first sworne by Commission well and truly to Administer the same.
