The following is my transcription of the pages of the Last Will and Testament and Probate Accounts of Dr. Richard Jaques of 20th February, 1800.

To the Honorable the Judges of the Orphans Court to be held at New Brunswick in and for the county of Middlesex.

To the Subscribers, William Budd and Ruth his wife late Ruth Jaques administratrix and Peter Lott Jaques, administrator of all and singular the goods and chattels rights & cudils which were of Dr. Richard Jaques deceased, by virtue of an order and rule of an Orphans Court held at the court house in New Brunswick in and for the said county of Middlesex on the twentieth day of February in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred, for the sale of a farm containing about three hundred and two acres and ????? ???? the ??????? belonging situate in the courtship of North Brunswick in the said county of Middlesex which the said Dr. Richard Jaques died ????? Do make this our report that in pursuance of the order aforesaid we did on the second day of May in the year of our Lord, eithteen hundred set up at publick ou???? and strike off the

same unto David Budd, he being the highest bidder ???????, at the sum of two thousand nine hundred and fifty one pounds ten shillings proclamaation money, the one half ???? thereof payable on the execution of the deed the one third part of the purchase money to be su??ed by mortgage and the interest therein to be applied for payment of the widow right of Dower and the residue to be paid on the first day of May in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and one ??? having first advertized the same agreeably to law for which said farm and grist mill, so as aforesaid set up at publick sale and ????d off We have executed a Deed of conveyance unto him the said David Budd, b???ing scale the first day of August in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred all which we submit to said court.

At a trial Orphans Court held at New Brunswick in and for the County of Middlesex the 20th day of October 1803

William Budd and Ruth Budd late Ruth Jaques adminx and Peter Lott Jaques administrator of Richard Jaques decd.

On Settlement of accounts the Surrogate having Reported the accounts of the administrator of Richard Jaques decd whereupon it appears there is a Balance in the hands of Said administrator of two thousand nine hundred and fifty six pounds Six Shilling and two pence Equal and of the Value of Seven Thousand three hundred and nine by dollar 77/100 and due ???? being made of advertiseing a?????able to law and no Exceptions being made the Court order and decree a Confirmation and allowanc of said accounts as Reported
